The Everlight Charter
Maul-Kar's Month of Abadius 4712
Again I knock on deaths door for these fools! I alert them to danger as their scout and what do they do? that damn shit head on the horse runs off to take on the danger while the rest of us are left playing catch up. Then we got ambushed! Roash and Gaverash fight alone on the other side of a bridge while me and the do good paladin are left against 4 ogres! I was thrown off my game and was forced to shoot on the run the whole time, until I collapsed from my wounds. luckily, Calistra was on my side that day cause my life was spared. I gotta hand it to that paladin, Verick. He took many blows while defending that dumb kid and weak women who could not defend themselves. I would have just used them as meat shields, but he used himself as a shield. I’ve only known humans to be selfish and weak willed, however, this paladin has shown me something that I am for some reason happy to see. seeing such redeeming qualities in a human makes me feel honored that I share the blood of his race. On second thought, all humans are trash and he was probably just showing off to make a name for himself, I will keep a close eye on him. He will not fool me with his empty display of self sacrifice.
Finally we reach civilization! Time to kick back and have a few beers, maybe even take a fools money. But, when I sit down at the table to play a friendly game of “whores over swords” Im getting the eye from these two nobody’s already playing. just because I look a little different or maybe it was because I was cheating my ass off and taking their money, who knows. Well, I guess the ugly one had enough because he stood up and pulled a dagger slamming it down in front of me on the table and calls me a cheater. So I calmly stood up and let him know that I do not appriciate being called a cheat by taking my chair and breaking it over his thick skull. So after proving my point I felt it nessesary to leave, seeing that I had over stayed my welcome. Doesn’t matter, I needed to buy a few things today anyway. Damn, if feels good to be in a town again!
